Eixample is home to some of Barcelona most famous architectures, such as Casa Batllò or Sagrada Familia. Eixample is diverse in terms of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. It is one of the most dynamic and comfortable areas to live in Barcelona, largely because it is very safe, and because you can always find what you need within walking distance, whether it's a 24hour supermarket, cash dispenser, metro or bus stop. Transport to and from the area is good. CONDICIONES Contract Upon checkin, you will be given a contract to sign with all the conditions. Deposit The deposit is to be paid upon entry. The deposit will be refunded to you after your stay, once we have inspected the room. We will give you back the deposit in cash or by bank transfer, whichever you prefer. The deposit acts as an assurance for us, and will be fully or partly retained in the case that you leave the accommodation before the agreed period, or if significant damage is done to the accommodation. Entrance fee The entrance fee is a one-time fee to be paid upon entry of the accommodation and is not refundable. The entrance fee covers all administration costs and includes that you will be handed your accommodation clean, with the bed made, and extra sheets and towels. In the case of shared flats, the common areas will also have been cleaned the day you move in. Rent All utilities are included in the rent (electricity, gas, water, WiFi). The rent is to be paid each month between the 1st and 5th, either in cash or by bank transfer. Rooms for 2 people are for couples only. Please note that rooms and studio flats for up to 2 people have different rents depending on the number of people renting it. Check-in Check-in is usually done from 14:00 until 21:00. Checkout Checkout must be done before 10:00. For the checkout please: Remove your food from the kitchen as well as your bathroom products Leave one clean set of sheets. Leave the dirty sheets on the bed. Leave the keys in the room. Cancellations Cancellation of the contract can be made in cases of urgencies that justify the termination of the contract. In that case, you must communicate your wish to terminate the contract at least month in advance; otherwise you will be responsible for paying the following month’s rent. EXAMPLE: If on October 17 you decide to leave the room due to an emergency, you are still obliged to pay the rent for November. HOUSE RULES Cleaning A cleaning service is included once per week, where common areas will be cleaned. But please note that you are expected to maintain the common areas cleaned in between. Out of respect for your flatmates, please wash your dishes as soon as you have used them. No parties Barcelona has a law that forbids loud music after 21:00, for the sake of your neighbours. Guests Inviting friends or partners to be in your house or sleep over is a matter you first and foremost need to discuss with your flatmates. Please note that due to bills and your flatmates convenience, overnight guests shouldn't be a regular occurrence.. Shared products You need to agree with your flatmates on sharing products and take turn to buy what's necessary, such as toilet paper, detergent etc. Garbage The garbage is divided into organic, plastic, paper, glass, and other. Just as above, you need to agree with your flatmates when to take out the garbage. No smoking inside Smoking inside is prohibited. Please smoke on the balconies only . Hanging clothes Please only hang clothes and towels in the back balconies, as it is prohibited to do so on the balcony facing the street (not in the Gothic and Born neighbourhoods).
